Indianapolis Academy of Excellence: A Challenge Foundation Academy opened as a K–3 school in 2014 and has grown to a  full K–6 program. Our main academic curriculum utilizes the Core Knowledge Sequence. Founded by E. D. Hirsch Jr., the author of Cultural Literacy, Core Knowledge is a solid, specific, shared core curriculum that helps children establish strong foundations of knowledge in language arts, history and geography, mathematics, science, art, and music. The Core Knowledge Sequence is designed to give students a rich knowledge base, one that will allow them to be successful in their future academic endeavors. IAE-CFA provides students and parents:
